Baffin Doug Stoup Men's Extreme Winter Boot

The Doug Stoup Signature Model was a collaboration between Baffin's technical team and Doug Stoup himself, a Polar explorer. Trekking and skiing over drifting ice pack on the Arctic Ocean to the Geographic North Pole, requires technical innovation and true functionality. Doug's Signature boot is designed with extra support along the back of the boot for ski control with a 360 degree nylon buckle strap for extra heel retention and forefoot securtiy. The pocket on the side was designed for flares that may be needed to fend off the true danger of Polar bears in the region. Previous to the Doug Stoup Signature model, Doug was using the Impact. He just fined tuned it for more rigorous and demanding back country uses.

Special mention goes to Baffin President Paul Hubner for pioneering this extreme winter boot as a client of Doug's on their successful "Last Degree Journey to the North Pole" in April 2006.
