Baffin is not a traditional boot company. First and foremost, they focus on boots, not packs, tents or clothes, just boots. Through creativity, free thinking, and leading edge technology, they are constantly improving product to ensure it is the best it can be. They are proud to have their boots keep feet warm, and comfortable, from Everest to the Antarctic, and to be used by people who must depend on their boots, unconditionally. This commitment to the professional user, means the casual user can be confident that their Baffin product has the heritage, and the technology to ensure satisfaction, no matter what the conditions.
Baffin has earned it's place as the permiere extreme weather brand among so many Arctic and Antarctic expeditions where a poor performing boot is not an option. This past April 2006, Baffin president Paul Hubner along with world renowed Doug Stoup, a true polar adventurer, conquered the North Pole. Their Last Degree journey took them on an incredible journey that very few have ever experienced. Trekking over drifiting ice pack on the Arctic Ocean to the Geographic North Pole (-30°C to - 50°C) 10 days, 8-9 hours a day pulling their own gear, to literally the top of the world. This expedtion only speaks of the personal dedication and experience of not only Paul as the president of Baffin, but to all of the developers and designers that work to manufacture the safest, warmest, and most comfortable boots that money can buy for the toughest elements on this planet.
